The past few weeks in review

The past few weeks have gone by so fast.
It seems that there is always something to do and someplace to go.
Here are a few things we have been doing.

Stacy came home from school to celebrate her birthday.
She was pleased with new Puma's ......

and a docking station
for her Ipod.

Next came the birthday cake complete with wishes and
blowing out the candles.  She says she is officially old now.

Mike has been patiently waiting for grilled pineapple and asparagus.
Looks pretty good.

Tasted delicious.

On April 7, Mike, Tyler and Alexis
had the opportunity to attend General Conference.
The walk through City Creek provided a
wonderful photo op.

The Salt Lake Temple always provides a wonderful
place for picture.  We had to get one.  Wished we could have
enjoyed the temple grounds longer.  So pretty.

Having lived in New Mexico for several years, Alexis had
never been to Conference in the Conference Center.  It was fun
to have her with us.

Here is Mike and Tyler re-creating a picture from a few years ago.
I guess they have grown a bit. We waited for about 1/2 hour for the
water show, but didn't get to see it.  We had a good time together.  Grateful for
days like this.

One night, Dave and I went for a drive.  We stopped to look
in on the progress of the Provo City Center Temple.  We
were amazed with what we saw.

Lastly, Tyler is off to the Prom tonight.
Not sure what happened.  Two weeks ago, he had no
intention of going.  But he had a change of heart.
Looks like he is going to have a good time.

We are looking forward to more adventures,  Stacy will be
moving home for the summer.  She and Mike finish up this semester of classes
shortly.  Final mission preparations begin for Mike. Shopping,
going to the temple, immunizations, along with
having everyone home for a few days
is on the agenda.

It's going to be a great month.
