Summer ...in a nutshell

WOW!!! Where did the summer go.  It is hard to believe that fall is in the air.
Starting to feel a bit chilly in Springville.  Here are a few events of Summer 2014.

Paul graduated from Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia on May 3
with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.

The next morning, May 4, Stacy graduated from
Utah State University in Logan, Utah with a
Bachelor's degree in Math Education

A week after graduation, Paul and Kellie moved to Tucson, AZ.  Paul is
working for Ratheon and Kellie is working from home for Georgia Pacific.

Elder Bartholomew, serving in Dapto, Australia
had the opportunity to baptize Sarah.

On August 9, Stacy moved to Riverton, UT.
She is now teaching 8th grade math at Fort Herriman
Middle School in Herriman, UT.

On August 15, I finished at home what I started at
Brigham Young University. I received a Bachelor's degree in
General Studies with an emphasis in Family Life.

Paul and Kellie surprised me by flying in from Arizona that morning,
Aaron, Stephanie, and Bridget came from Logan.  Stacy came from Riverton.
Such a fun day for me. So grateful for the support and help I received from
my family, especially from David, in accomplishing my goal.

August 19 was Tyler's last first day of public education.  Doesn't seem
possible that the youngest in our family will soon graduate from high school
and head off for greater things.  Where did the time go???

The summer was finished off with the beautiful wedding of my niece, Sierra.
She and Dane were married on August 23 in the Manti Temple.
It was so neat to be with them as they began their lives together.

So there it is.  Summer in a nutshell.  Wonder what the fall will bring?
