Georgia on my mind...

Tyler and I just returned for a wonderful trip to Atlanta, GA.  Paul and Kellie have lived there since August 2012 so that Paul could work on his Master's Degree at Georgia Tech..  In May they will move to Tucson, AZ.  Paul has accepted employment with Ratheon.  So it was now or never.  We had a wonderful time and got to experience some southern culture.

Our first stop was Six Flags over Georgia for a some roller coaster fun.
This will be remembered as the place I took my last roller coaster ride.

Food trucks for dinner.  A good variety of food sold at a small park not far from
Paul and Kellie's apartments.  Lots of choices.

Spend a day at the Georgia Aquarium.  Lots and lots of sea creaturers.
Even took in a dolphin show.  No camera's allowed.

The robot Paul worked with to write his Master's Thesis.

Here we have a demonstrations of Pauls Master's thesis.
Tyler did something and then the robot would imitate.
Not too bad.

A tour at the CNN studio allowed us to ride this unsupported
escalator up 6 floors.   Amazing.

We had lunch from the top of a revolving restaurant that overlooked
the city of Atlanta.  We were able to see the whole city during our hour lunch.  We
located Paul and Kellie's apartment, Turner field (home of the Atlanta Braves,
Georgia Tech, and had a close up view of the Georgia Pacific building where sometimes
Kellie works at.

On the campus of Georgia Tech.  Wanted to see where Paul spent
a lot of his time during the past almost 2 years.

We even got a chance at some southern food.
Fried chicken, sweet potatoes, and fried okra along with a turnip green soup.
Delicious.

We had a wonderful time.  Good to be in the south again.
