Grandma for a day

Yesterday I got to play grandma, sort of, to six children while their parents
attended a family wedding.  We had a great time.  It was fun to have little ones around.

Adam decided to build Lincoln Town out of
the Lincoln logs.

Made and played with gak.  Such fun.  It is kind of
flubbery and can do amazing things.

Curious George had their attention for a little while.

After a delicious (the kids word) lunch of pizza, it was time make and decorate animal cookies.

Katie really gets in to her work.

Stacy had a lot of fun helping the kids decide
which cookie to make and then helping them frost
and decorate using sprinkles.

While frosting his cookie, Adam got some on his finger.  He
told me he just had to lick it off and it was delicious.
He didn't want a pink, blue, orange, or green dog, so he
told me if we mixed them together we could get brown.
Sure enough, we mixed a little of each color and got
tan.  He was pleased.

Abigail wanted green frosting

Eating  was the best part.

We had a great time with the kids.  I just realized I didn't get a picture
of 9-month old Eliza (sorry Rebecca).  She was so content to play on the floor.
Hope we can see her soon as well as these other cute kids.
